Most of the decoration is made of recyclable items. Andres Jaramillo is the owner and founder of the restaurant. When they see on the street will say their restaurant is very nice and cute. There is some people who come to the country just to go to the restaurant. Andres Carne De Res was founded in June 21th on 1982. Some people like Botero (Colombian famous painter) signed an object and he gave to Andres and now part of the restaurant. Being one of the most visited restaurants in Colombia, Andres Carne De Res has a variety of dishes. People go to the restaurant to enjoy the music and good food offered by the place.

-I’ll never forget the night in Andrés Carne de Res! It was one of my first nights in Colombia, and I was thrown straight into the thick of it. Amazing food, hilarious entertainment, brilliantly eccentric decor and fantastic music! The crowd is here to enjoy themselves and they seem to never leave the dance-floor! Be prepared to eat a lot, dance a lot, laugh a lot and have a great night! Not to be missed if you’re in Bogotá or Chia…although I’ve heard the Chia restaurant is worth the trip from Bogotá. We went on our way back from the Salt Cathedral, so that was handy.
-Great food and atmosphere. A little slow with drink service but very accommodating to requests. When it rains hard you discover that the roof is not actually waterproofed. Just lucky we finished before the hail storm. The great food and atmosphere mitigates any of the minor negatives.
I highly recommend the long drive to Chia if you are in Bogota.
